 INSTALLATION TIP [LAPTOPS] 2010-07-13 CanoScan LiDE 200 Scanner works a treat. supplied with nice mini b to usb lead. i think best to ignore cd disc and to download online , my `vista` no problem for scanner software. " i didnt want extra stuff as i dont like to install unecassarily on my laptop. " NICE HINGE LID TO ACCOMODATE A DECENT SIZED BOOK TYPE ITEM. | ||
 A good scanner 2010-07-01 I bought this scanner to help me with my illustration work and it has performed brilliantly so far. Its so handy being able to power it through a USB cable - if you have a small desk its easy to get cluttered by having so many plugs attached everywhere. Its also nicely light and transportable, and relatively quick at scanning. I used to use the scanner attached to my printer and the Canon takes a fraction of the time to do a much higher dpi. Overall I am very happy, and the price was excellent. | ||

| Great portable Canon scanner 2010-06-05 I've added this portable scanner so that when travelling it fits in my laptop bag alongside. It works straight from the laptop using the USB cable - no need for separate power supply. It works very well at home too so I don't have to get up and scan on my other Canon all in one next to the desktop in the other room. Now I can Canon scan from where I sit with the laptop in the kitchen in front of the Sony 32" HD TV. Very satisfied - thanks. | ||
